I fell in love with my wife when I was 15… she was 14, and she couldn’t stand me. To be fair to her, I still don’t know if she can stand me— but she’s in it for the long haul at this point.
I’m not a wedding photographer. And that’s probably the most alarming thing you can hear from someone who you are contemplating hiring to photograph your wedding, but please… allow me to explain. I have a lot of friends who are wedding photographers (if you want their names, I’ll give them to you) and their weekends are jam packed with weddings— sometimes double headers and I’ve even seen them pack THREE into a holiday weekend… standing next to them, I feel exactly as I do at the gym— inadequate. Weddings cannot be my primary source of income— I can’t depend on them to make my year-end goals, because I can’t shoot them like my friends do. I believe the weddings I am meant to shoot will find their way to me. I believe there are weddings I am meant to be at— not because of a paycheck, but because I am meant to know these couples.
I am someone who gets overly invested in things— I just whaled in the car watching the final episode of Orange is the New Black, not because it was sad (no spoilers) but because I am just sad to say goodbye to my friends in prison. I’ve yet to photograph a wedding where I didn’t cry— because by the time you are in-front of my camera on your big day, I am all-in. On your wedding day, there is ONE person you will see more than anyone else— me. More than you will see your lover, your parents, your family, your friends— you will see me— and I take that very serious. On your big day, you should be surrounded in positivity and people who love you and who are rooting for your happiness— I can’t just be another vendor, it’s not in my personality.
I am not here to sell myself to you— I am simply here to tell you who I am. Whether it includes me or not, I want your wedding day to be everything you ever dreamed of.

KEEP IT SIMPLE.
Weddings are a lot of stress. We don’t wan’t that for you. My goal is to make this process as smooth as possible.
We have three simple packages to choose from. Each of these packages include an engagement session— with all images from both your engagement session and wedding day, delivered in high resolution. There are no required print collection orders or any additional fees for these packages. They are all-inclusive from beginning to end.
Each wedding package includes one primary photographer, as well as an assistant shooter. If I feel the need for another photographer, they will be paid out of my pocket. I don’t like confusion or surprises.
THE PROCESS.
You’re currently in the process of making the most important commitment of your life— I’m not going to pressure you into making a second one right away.
All of our wedding packages include an engagement session. Your engagement session serves as our first date— it’s our time to get to know each other, see how we work together and an opportunity to have your face in-front of my camera and give you the chance to see yourself in my work.
At the time of your engagement session, a $700 retainer is due. Upon delivery of your gallery, it’s completely up to you whether or not you would like to move forward. IF you decide to go in a different direction, your retainer is kept as payment for the engagement session. This has nothing to do with not believing in myself or my work— I just think it’s a pretty big deal choosing your wedding photographer and I always want you to feel 110% sure in your decision, without any pressure.

I promise to be there. I don’t mean just physically there on your wedding day— I would hope every wedding photographer promises that.
I promise to be there for you, on one of the most important days of your life. I am not just there to photograph your day— I am there to keep your spirits up, to take care of whatever you need and to keep you focused on one thing: enjoying your big day.

Maybe you’re not quite ready for marriage— or maybe you are, but you’re not ready to talk wedding photography, either way, I’ve got you covered. If your relationship is still new or you’ve been married for what feels like forever, maybe you’re recently engaged or coming back together after a rough patch— people in love is people in love and that’s something we should have photographed more.

YOU + YOUR LOVER + ACE = True love… maybe not, maybe it’s just great pictures and an experience you always remember. The odds seem pretty good. High resolution images loaded onto a custom USB, with full printing rights and all tied together with a bow.
